We’ve been on a bit of a hiatus from the blog since the shop closed at the end of October, but we want you to know we’re still here working hard… and fishing hard too! Although we don’t keep the shop open throughout the winter, we’re working almost every day to keep things moving along. We’re answering emails and phone calls, placing orders for the upcoming season, reorganizing the shop, and occasionally sneaking out on the warmer days in search for trout Since you’re probably more interested in the fishing, here’s what we’re been up to out on the river.
The Gallatin fished well last week, despite our guides freezing every other cast. Nymphing was the name of the game, with rubber legs being the most productive. With the exceptionally cold weather however, it has become very icy so please be careful out there or head to the Upper Madison instead! Between the lakes, Raynold's, and 3 Dollar are all looking good & fishing well!
Keep checking in with us as we share our adventures throughout 2016!
