Trout Unlimited - TroutFest 2018

Greetings!

We are proud to be partners with Madison Gallatin Chapter of Trout Unlimited (MGTU) and support the hard work required to conserve, protect and restore the legendary coldwater fisheries of Southwest Montana we all love. That’s why, as a fellow angler and someone who shares your passion for wild trout and the fragile places where they thrive, I’m encouraging you to join us in supporting the 2018 MGTU’s TroutFest Banquet on February 17th - the one and only time each year they ask for help.

They’ve got some great ways to participate in their TroutFest this year at https://mgtutroutfest18.auction-bid.org, including some fabulous items like a tricked out RO drift boat, a Wisconsin Musky Trip, an Alaska fishing trip, and all kinds of great gear up for bid in the Silent and Live Auctions.

And the best part is  —  you don’t even have to attend in person to win, join in the fun and make a real difference!

All you have to do is take a few minutes and check out their TroutFest 2018’s auction site at https://mgtutroutfest18.auction-bid.org. *NOTE: items will not be fully loaded or open for mobile bid until a couple days before the banquet date. Perhaps you can be the winning bidder of an incredible item and in doing so, help preserve the pristine waters of Southwestern Montana; truly the “Last Best Place”for wild trout anywhere in the world.

Thank You.

Hope to see you in the shop soon and Tight Lines!

Hebgen & Quake Lakes: The ice is now officially gone on both Hebgen & Quake. Its been very hit or miss but if you can time it right and get a day with little to no wind, the chironomid fishing has been pretty solid. Streamers have been moving some fish on the less than ideal condition days. Smaller midge nymphs like buzzers and ice cream cones have been the ticket though as of late.
