We continue to get snow, but the days are getting longer and the water temperature at the Kirby Ranch is getting close to 40 degrees during the height of the day. That can mean only one thing. The midge hatches are going off. This can be some of the funnest dry fly fishing around. Mind you, it's still cold out there so make sure you have the proper winter gear!
