Ladies & Gentleman, We're Back!!
Montana
Hebgen: The ice is finally quickly receding from the lake. Most of the Madison, Grayling, and South Fork arms are majoritvely open. This time of year one shouldn't attempt to dry fly fish (at risk of insanity). Leeches & Nymphs! Flies: #8 Black or Olive Simi Seal Leech, #6 Balanced Squirrel Leech Black, #6 Olive or Black Hot Bead Leech, #8 Thin Mint, #18 BBQ Baetis, #6 Peanut Envy Brown, #6 Sculpinator, #12 O.S. Buzzer, #18 Two Bit Hooker

Upper Madison: The Upper Madison is fishing wonderfully. She's currently in a chalky green pre-runoff state (the water looks GREAT). Nymphing is, as always the most productive way to fish the Upper, however we've seen plenty of noses this week, mainly sipping small midge clusters & BWO's on the overcast days.
Don't discount streamers either! Flies: #10 Pat's Rubberlegs - Black, #16 Olive Hot Spot, #16 Beadhead Shop-Vac #18 BBQ Baetis, #18 CDC BWO Comparadun, #20 Low Water Baetis, #16 Purple Parachute, #16 Para Western March Brown, #6 Olive Mini Sex-Dungeon #8 Hot Bead Thin Mint YNP
**Yellowstone National Park is closed to fishing until May 27th!!**
