Introducing Airflo's new groundbreaking Technology with the SuperDri fly line range!
The SuperDri technology has been developed for the serious floating line angler, featuring a friction reducing coating which lets the line glide through the rod rod rings and adds yards to your cast. The SuperDri's coating gives you unparalleled floatation with the ability to repel water, dirt and surface scum better than any material in the history of fly lines.
Another new feature of the SuperDri range from Airflo is 'Zone Technology', a new concept that uses a low compression compound in the part of the line exposed to the most stress, ensuring the line doesn't stick to the rod guides when hauling and shooting. This new line technology will minimize friction during the cast, helping with distance and extending the life of your floating line. Coupled with Airflo's revolutionary ridge and power core, you will notice the difference from your very first cast.
The Super Dri Elite fly line is our 'go-to' trout taper. The standard head length and modest front taper will allow any angler to present a fly with ease at distance with great presentation. This line does it all, great for all aspects of trout fishing.

The RIO Scandi head is a very easy casting Scandi style shooting head, built on RIO’s ultra-low stretch ConnectCore for the utmost in casting control and sensitivity. It is available in a multitude of lengths and weights to cover all rod and angling situations. For tight casting spots and the utmost in ease of casting use a head length that is between 2.5 and 3 times the length of the rod, thus a 12 ft rod would work best with a head that is between 30 and 36 ft in length. The shorter the head length, the tighter the back casting space an angler can fish in. With more room and better casting skills a longer head provides the angler with less line to strip in between each cast and more fishing time.
This series incorporates RIO’s popular Steelhead Scandi and AFS shooting heads

OPST's Commando Skagit Heads are the result of decades of focus on sustained anchor systemology (SAS) by Ed Ward. They are designed to expand the capabilities of shorter spey rods, switch rods and single hand rods beyond that of normal. These heads give the fly fisher a method of delivering streamers with less space than ever before. High banks, low canopies, and generating tailwaters all turn into very accessible water with our heads. You may be surprised at their short length, but this was no accident. The ultra-short design provides an effortless casting feel and enhances performance in circumstances of restricted casting room, troublesome winds and in casting bulky flies. It also makes them more fishable for beginners compared to longer lines that are hard to control. Designed to work with our Lazar
Running Line and the corresponding tips, you'll have maximum versatility to dial your depth and shoot-ability in. Wanna roll cast? Underhand? Single hand Skagit with a haul? Overhead? Go right ahead. You have never cast a line like the Commando.

The tip our trout and smallmouth anglers have been waiting for. 5 feet, 40 grains, and three different sink rates: S2, S4 and S6. Finally, there is a micro tip optimized for single hand rods under 9 ft.
Generally, we like these tips on single hand rods that are 9ft. or less, and also are less than a 6 weight. However, there are definitely exceptions to this based on personal preference and on rod variances.
